The Rector extended his warm greetings and assured the students of comprehensive support in both their academic pursuits and cultural adaptation.
This engagement signifies a meaningful step in strengthening academic and cultural ties between India and Russia. University officials and student representatives alike emphasized the importance of fostering long-term relationships that extend beyond education, promoting deeper people-to-people and cultural connections.
Rus Education extended its congratulations to the MBBS students, acknowledging the beginning of an exciting journey in medical education, personal growth, and global opportunities.
The arrival of the Indian MBBS students coincides with Kalmykia’s preparations to host the International Buddhist Forum from 25–28 September 2025. The Forum will bring together spiritual leaders, scholars, and participants from around the world, including India, to explore Buddhism’s role in fostering peace, dialogue, and intercultural understanding.
For the Indian students, this experience offers not only academic enrichment but also the chance to participate in a historic cultural and spiritual exchange in Kalmykia.
