Arena Animation Launches State-of-the-Art Centre in Nungambakkam, Chennai
Chennai, (Tamil Nadu) [India] March 9, 2026: Arena Animation, a globally recognized training brand in animation, visual effects, gaming, and digital media education, has inaugurated its new center in Nungambakkam, Chennai, further strengthening the brand’s presence in the city while providing aspiring creators access to industry-oriented training.
The center was inaugurated by Mr. Zamer Hussain, Chief Operating Officer & Global Executive Vice President of Basilic Fly Studio, in the presence of Mr. Shajan Samuel, Senior Vice President & National Sales Head – Arena Animation, while actor, anchor, and advocate Ms. Sreenidhi Sudarshan attended the occasion as the Guest of Honor.
Spread across approximately 2500 sq. ft., the new center features modern infrastructure including a dedicated VFX lab with a professional green screen setup, making it one of the few institutes in Chennai to offer a specialized VFX production environment for students.
The center will offer career-focused programs in Animation, Visual Effects (VFX), Game Development, Graphic Design, and UI/UX Design, aimed at preparing students for opportunities in the rapidly growing AVGC (Animation, VFX, Gaming & Comics) sector.
The center is led by Franchise Owner Mr. Senthil Kumar, who holds a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Sweden and comes from a family with over 20 years of experience in the education sector, running a school. Through this venture, he aims to bridge the gap between creative education and industry-ready skills for young talents in Chennai.
