ARISE conducts Roadshow in Chennai! Reiterates commitment to facilitating Education reforms

Chennai, (Tamil Nadu), March 28, 2025: ARISE (Association for Re-inventing School Education), a leading independent body that was incubated in FICCI in Year 2016 and committed to transforming India’s K-12 education landscape, conducted a roadshow in Chennai to engage with progressive school leaders and education stakeholders from Southern India, aimed at fostering deeper collaboration and strengthening ARISE’s regional presence. The two-day event featured interactive sessions, knowledge-sharing discussions, and networking opportunities aimed at addressing regional education priorities. Member schools, educators, and industry experts from Tamil Nadu actively participated in discussions around [key topics or focus areas discussed at the event], exploring innovative solutions to common challenges faced by schools in the region. The highlight of the roadshow was also a very interactive knowledge session by Ernst & Young on the statutory & governance landscape of school education. The roadshow also served as a platform to showcase upcoming initiatives and encourage greater participation from ARISE’s member community.
The event also witnessed ARISE’s successful conduct of its Quarterly Member’s Meet which brought together ARISE member school edupreneurs from across the country to review outcomes and progress of the work done by ARISE in the areas of policy advocacy, knowledge sharing and research. The Member’s meet also highlighted ARISE plans for the months ahead and recorded September 2025 as the month for the much awaited ARISE National Annual School education conference. Other important points related to the NEP 2020 were also discussed and deliberated upon.
Notably, the event was attended by many sectoral leaders and influencers including ARISE Founders & Governing Board members, ARISE State Council chairs from across the country including Mr. Prabhat Jain, Immediate Past President and Mr. Vedant Khetan, Vice President, further strengthening the association’s engagement with key stakeholders.
Praveen Raju, President of the ARISE Governing Board presided over the 2 day event and shared his satisfaction at the successful outcome of the same. Speaking on the occasion, he said “ ARISE plays a very important role in shaping the Indian school education ecosystem and turnout of progressive thinking school leaders in meetings like the one we conducted in Chennai are testimony to the unified commitment that all of us hold to make a positive impact on the K12 sector”

The spirit of distributing such events across different states and cities reflects the ARISE belief that all reforms and progress for betterment in K12 education has to be customised to reflect the diversity and cultural spread of india and yet be progressive enough to not miss out on modern educational methodology and technology integration” He further added that policies and framework should yield impact and outcomes and suited to the dynamically changing environment of school education for the next generation learners.

ARISE will continue to engage with its community through regular member meets and roadshows across different regions of India.
