Three new academic collaborations announced at Global Impact Summit 2022
Hyderabad, April 14, 2022: Three new academic collaborations were announced at Global Impact Summit 2022, which is currently underway at Woxsen University at Kamkole in Munipally Mandal, Sangareddy in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The three new collaborations will enhance learning opportunities for students.
The three announcements were made on the fourth day of the summit on Wednesday.
Woxsen University, School of Arts & Design and Department of Design, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), an institute of eminence agreed to collaborate in the areas of Joint Research, Training, Workshops and Conferences. A design innovation lab will also be setup with the collaboration of BHU.
We haven’t yet formalised our collaboration. We have agreed to collaborate. It might take about six months to finalise this collaboration by way of an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) informed Mr Manish Arora, Faculty Visual Arts and Coordinator for Design Innovation Centre, BHU.
Dr Adity Saxena, Dean – School of Arts and Design, Woxsen School of Arts & Design was also present on the occasion.
Manish described it as a great opportunity. We are being a government body; it will take some time to sign an agreement.
According to them, they are also planning to establish a joint design workshop, though nothing is firmed up as yet. Our collaboration may also expand to other domains, they added.
Another collaboration was between Woxsen University and Woosong University, South Korea for dual degree program for BBA which they described collaboration as 2+2. The students of Woxsen will have the benefit of dual degree, Indian and Korean.
The third collaboration was between Woxsen University and Classavo. Classavo is a USA based student’s engagement and analytics platform. An MoU was signed between Dr Raul Rodriguez, Vice President, Woxsen University and Rohan Shah from Classavo. They signed and exchanged the MoU. This academic collaboration is for Research, Digital Learning, scholarship and incubation. It is also for strengthening our ties, they announced.
Classavo also presented a cheque of Rs 3.5 lakh (US$ 5000) as a grant towards incubation and acceleration of student start-up ideas.
Woxsen University is organising the Global Impact Summit 2022 at its Campus near Sangareedy. It kicked off on Sunday and will conclude on the 14th.

The theme of the Summit is Ethics, Responsibility and Sustainability followed in combination with Innovation and Transformation.
