Seksaria Sushila Devi Public School Celebrates Annual Function ‘Rangoli 3.0’ as a Confluence of Science, Values, and Creativity

Seksaria Sushila Devi Public School, a leading educational institution in the district known for its commitment to value-based education and the holistic development of students, organised its grand and memorable Annual Function “Rangoli 3.0” with great enthusiasm. The event was thematically centred on the illustrious pillars of India’s scientific tradition, highlighting the integration of science, values, and creativity.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and floral tributes by the Chief Guest, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Goswami; School Manager Mr. Dinesh Seksaria; Mr. Rakesh Seksaria; School Committee Chairman Dr. B. P. Singh; School Secretary Mr. Gaurang Seksaria; and Principal Dr. Ganesh D. Patil. The occasion was further graced by the presence of Mr. P. B. Singh, Dr. Praveen Sharma, Mr. Uma Shankar, Mr. A. P. Singh, Rotarian Mr. Mukesh Andhiwal, office bearers and members of the Private School Management Committee, along with other distinguished guests.
The objective of the annual function was to showcase the lives and contributions of eminent Indian scientists and thinkers, while cultivating a scientific temperament and research-oriented mindset among students. Students presented a series of well-coordinated dance performances, theatrical enactments, and musical presentations that reflected artistic excellence and creative expression. The performances vividly portrayed scientific achievements, technological advancement, and the enduring legacy of India’s scientific heritage. The programme fostered curiosity, innovation, creative thinking, and respect for scientific values among students.
A presentation on Krishna Leela, seamlessly integrating science and spirituality, along with interpretative dance and discussion on the scientific perspectives embedded within it, emerged as a major highlight of the evening. Dramatic enactments based on the lives of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Aryabhata, Vikram Sarabhai, Satish Dhawan, and Chanakya added depth and intellectual richness to the event, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Goswami—Professor and Director, IQAC, Sanskriti University—emphasised the pivotal role of youth in the vision of a developed India. He appreciated the school’s efforts in presenting India’s knowledge traditions through a scientific and contemporary perspective. Highlighting self-confidence, perseverance, and systematic training as the foundations of success, he observed that such platforms provided by schools guide students towards critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and responsible citizenship, enabling them to become self-reliant and capable individuals in the future.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Ganesh D. Patil stated that the school’s mission extends beyond academic excellence to the comprehensive development of learners. He emphasised the importance of equipping students with essential 21st-century skills such as creativity, leadership, effective communication, and sound decision-making abilities. Through the theme of eminent Indian scientific personalities, students were connected to the nation’s rich scientific legacy and the significance of a scientific outlook.
While presenting the Annual Report, the Principal highlighted the school’s academic progress, commendable examination results, co-curricular initiatives, and achievements at the state and national levels. He attributed these accomplishments to the dedication of teachers, the perseverance of students, and the continuous support of parents, reaffirming the school’s standing as a leading educational institution.
On the occasion, students were felicitated with trophies, medals, and certificates in recognition of their achievements in academics, sports, and other skill-based activities.
In his address, School Secretary Mr. Gaurang Seksaria stated that the institution was founded with the vision of imparting education that integrates knowledge with values, scientific reasoning, and a sense of social responsibility. He remarked that such programmes strengthen curiosity, creativity, leadership qualities, and a spirit of inquiry among students, preparing them to face future challenges with confidence.
