Eduthon Fest Connected all the dots at Poona college Via International Language Conference

International Language Conference (Language and Employment Opportunities) on the occasion of International Mother Language Day and Marathi Official Language Day under the joint aegis of Poona College, Hindi Department, Vidyarthi Vikas Mandal, IQAC and Eduthon, Stay Featured, Scholars Tree Educare, Palingo, Win Connects  Aspiring to Inspiring – Aparajita Awards 2023 concluded.  

The conference was presided over and inaugurated by Principal Dr Aftab Anwar Sheikh.  He said that “all the world languages have their own sweetness, their own importance.  While loving all the languages, according to the National Education Policy, we have to have a hold on more than one language.  Language scholars have to increase the attachment of students to languages by adopting a positive approach regarding employment, only then can they make a career through the medium of language.

Vice Principal Pvt.  Presiding over the technical session, Imtiyaz Agha said that “without showing enmity towards any language, all languages have to be respected, only then national integration will be promoted.”  Hindi Department Head Sub Lieutenant Dr Mohd.  Shakir Sheikh introduced everyone to the employment opportunities in Hindi subject and the language.  Chief guest Dr Prateek Mungekar threw light on the language of music.  He guided the attendees regarding Aparajita Saman. Chief guest Sagar Lokhande presented his views regarding language and defence.  His colleague Vicky Pawar was also present in this program.

Harshada Potadar presented his views regarding the Sanskrit language. Regarding the importance of the English language, the Head of the English Department, Prof.  Zeenat Merchant presented her views.  Regarding employment available in Marathi’s official language, Prof  Zuber Patel guided. Mr Tyler Yanda from The Oberoi International School for Spanish spoke about pursuing a career in Spanish. Mrs Bhavna Gupta presented her views regarding French and European languages. Dr Gargi Limaye, the founder of Eduwrite, guided everyone regarding making a career in the German language.

Comic Writer Poet  Dr. Prachetan Potdar, poetess Shweta Mishra, Vanita Bansal, Shiddat Maner presented poetic  gestures  under Sahitya Sangam. Kala Natarajan Prof  Vijaya Chavan, Advocate Arunima Jha, Rasika Bhave- Vaidya, Pooja Doshi, Advocate Geetanjali Kadte, Garima Kavthekar, Mrs Renu Patil, Advocate Smriti Deshpande, Neha Sama, Dr Anita Jathar, Sakshi Mohanti, Mona More, Dr Ashwini Pansare, Anjali Singh, Neha  Jain, Dr Padmashree Ballal, Zahira Sheikh,  Capt. Ritu Biyani,  Principal Preeti Dabde, Dr Nirmala Rajput, Steafy Shaji, Suhas Tohgaonkar CA Shweta Chordia- Nandwani, etc. were honoured with journey aspiring to inspire and Aprajita women of the year award 2023.

On this occasion, Dattatray Paralkar, editor of the weekly Samruddha Vyapar, released special editions of his Marathi weekly.  On this occasion, Principal Ujjwala Pingle, Prof  Zameer Syed, prof  Kailash Narute,  Prof.  Nandini Narute etc. were present.

Celebration partner Swati Chowdhari’s Amar Bakers had an exceptional contribution to making the program memorable.  Her cake won everyone’s hearts. Everyone enjoyed it like a bite of deliciousness.
